External Relations and Coordination Department
The Department for External Relations and Coordination (Sous-direction Relations extérieures et coordination - RELEC) manages the Agency's external relations, coordinates its interventions and drafts regulations.
Organisation
- A Risk Management and Regulation (Maîtrise des risques et réglementation – MRR) Unit tasked with supporting government departments and businesses in their security consolidation projects and with the defence of their network and information systems, and with the drafting of regulations within the Agency’s sphere of responsibility;
- A Sector Coordination (Coordination sectorielle – COS) Unit that coordinates the Agency’s relations with government departments and critical sectors to enhance their cybersecurity and cyberdefence.
It provides the Agency with an overall view of cybersecurity in the various sectors;
- an International Relations (IR) Unit responsible for the development, management and coordination of the Agency’s international activities (bilateral relations, involvement in regional of international organisations or for a, activities in the international sphere) in the political, technical and operational fields, and for participating in the formulation and promotion of France’s position within international bodies;
- a Public Relations Unit (COM) to promote and share the messages and recommendations of the Agency as broadly as possible, through its involvement at all stages, from the formulation of communications policy to its operational implementation.
- a Local Coordination (Coordination territoriale – COT) Unit that coordinates and promotes the actions of the Agency at the local level, contributes to the sharing of experience and roles of all local stakeholders.
